Um assobio contagiante….

Black Holes and Revelations é o álbum mais recente (2006) dos Muse e bem que podia falar de músicas como Starlight ou Supermassive Black Hole para mostrar o meu gosto por este grupo de rock alternativo.
Mas não.
Volto mais atrás, Absolution é o álbum que quero recordar.
Sing for Absolution, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Hysteria e Our Time is Running Out são temas fantásticos.
Principalmente a última.

Há coisas que não consigo resistir e uma delas é ver um daqueles cds de uma banda favorita, e não comprar. Tenho de trazer o álbum para casa (e muitas das vezes até já o tinha em formato mp3)! Penso que é uma forma de incentivar a que não deixem de fazer boa música.
Hoje fiquei surpreendido ao ver um cd dos HIM que desconhecia. Agarrei logo nele e pus-me a ler as músicas que tinha.
Pensei: - Este tem de ir comigo para casa! :P
Mas antes que acentasse as ideias, deparo-me imediatamente com outro álbum novo também dos HIM.
Aiii, assim já estão a abusar! Um já era óptimo mas dois… Excepcional!
Estava perante Uneasy Listening Vol. 1 e Vol. 2, duas colectâneas com muitos êxitos em remisturas, temas ao vivo, em acústico ou gravadas em estúdio de rádio. Ainda pensei em escolher um deles para trazer mas iria ficar sempre a pensar no outro… Pronto, acabei por trazer os dois! :D
Depois de os ouvir apenas tenho uma palavra: Adoro!
Os HIM desde o início me cativaram bastante e ao longo do tempo apresentaram uma sonoridade e uma lírica muito própria que me faz gostar bastante desta banda de Love Metal/Rock Alternativo.
Com estes dois cds, Ville Valo apresenta 29 temas refrescados e com uma nova aura!

Esta música pertence ao álbum Mezzanine dos Massive Attack. Apesar da sua idade (1998) será sempre uma daquelas que marca presença na minha playlist (só as batidas iniciais da música, a fazer lembrar o bater do coração, arrasa completamente).
Sem qualquer dúvida, uma das minhas músicas favoritas!

Uma banda portuguesa vai actuar no festival de Glastonbury (Inglaterra) no dia 22 de Junho, e no Roskilde (Dinamarca) a 7 de Julho. É rarissímo termos representantes lusos nestes festivais europeus, muito menos nos dois no mesmo ano!
Despertou-me a curiosidade e fui ouvir um pouco dos Buraka Som Sistema com o seu inovador kuduro progressivo.
Penso que todos já ouviram a Yah! por isso deixo-vos Wawaba.
É diferente. ;)
